| Abstract |
This manual describes the basic principles of land treatment and presents a rational procedure for design of land treatment systems. Information contained in this manual can be used in identifying alternatives during planning, in selecting a process alternative or site, in determining necessary field investigations, and in conducting the process design. Slow rate, rapid infiltration, and overland flow processes for the treatment of municipal wastewater are given emphasis. |
