Abstract |
The article will present the salient points of the reclamation programs as practiced by Robins AFB and Aerospace Guidance and Metrology Center (AGMC). Robins ALC overhauls and repairs aircraft. Large quantities of fairly common solvents are used for cleaning and degreasing in a variety of operations performed during maintenance of the aircraft and its various systems. AGMC is the Air Force's principal center for the repair of inertial guidance systems. AGMC's recovery system is designed specifically for the reclamation of freon to the purity prescribed in the Military Specifications. |
