Abstract |
This report is the fourth in a series of studies to assess the impact on groundwater quality of coal strip mining in the western United States. Presented are preliminary groundwater monitoring design guidelines for reclaimed mine areas, including regarded spoils and reclamation aids. The study area for this report is Campbell County, Wyoming, which overlies one of the major coal fields in the Powder River Basin. |
