| Abstract |
The Third International Conference on Fluidized-Bed Combustion is reported. The keynote address was, 'The Clean Fuel Technology Gap-- Opportunities for New Fluidization Procedures.' The themes of the six sessions are as follows: (1) Coal Combustion and Additive Regeneration; (2) Non-coal Fluidized-Bed Combustion Processors; (3) Gasification/Desulfurization; (4) Conceptual Designs and Economics; (5) Pilot Plant Design, Construction, and Operation; (6) Panel discussion summarizing the thoughts presented during the conference. All thirty papers together with the panel discussion and summary session are included in these proceedings. Papers contains numerous figures and tables. |
