Abstract | Streams were sampled at seven stations on the Mackinaw River and seven stations on its tributaries. The survey focused on macroinvertebrate communities, fish populations, instream habitat, land use, along with sediment and water chemistry as tools to document the biological, physical and chemical status of the Mackinaw River basin. The purpose of the study was to evaluate current water quality conditions. Water chemistry data consisted of three to four samples for each of the 14 stations. |
