Abstract The workshop proceedings include: A history of wastewater reclamation and nonpotable reuse through dual distribution systems; optimal use of powdered activated carbon for pesticides removal; occurrence and control of radon in water supplies; alternative disinfection technologies for small water systems; disinfection by-products history, production, and control; point of use/point of entry water treatment applications; modeling water quality changes in distribution systems; innovative methodologies and technologies for water main rehabilitation and replacement program development; factors related to coliform regrowth in drinking water full-scale studies; management of water treatment plant residuals; water treatment technologies for small communities; microfiltration for drinking water treatment; zeta potential and particle counting for optimizing pathogen removal; cryptospordium and giardia contamination and removal; and control of DBPs and microbial contaminants through the groundwater disinfection rule and the D/DBP rule.
