Abstract | The report presents the results of an investigation made by the Public Health Service in connection with several proposals for water storage in the Guyandot River Basin of West Virginia. Information is presented on water supplies, pollution sources, and water quality in the Guyandot Basin as obtained during a field investigation from April 28 to May 8, 1959. Also presented is an evaluation of water supply and pollution abatement benefits that could accrue by providing increased flow from various proposed reservoirs during periods of low natural stream flow. |
