Abstract |
The literature of natural washout processes was reviewed. The scope of the literature included journal articles, government reports, and reviews of research on those natural phenomena involved in the self-improvement of fresh water systems which result in restoration to their natural state following cessation or controlled reduction of the introduction of abnormal quantities or kinds of matter or influences. Emphasis is on western hemisphere literature appearing after 1960. There are 530 reference citations. |
