Abstract |
A method has been developed for the cleanup of rat and human urine extracts which permits quantitative analysis of alkyl phosphates at a level considerably lower than heretofore possible. The method has been used for analysis of urine from rats exposed to parathion. Results indicate that the analysis of urine for alkyl phosphates constitutes an excellent tool for monitoring both acute and chronic exposure to parathion in the general population. |
