Abstract |
This report summarizes the findings of an evaluation of the Unterdruck-Verdampfer-Brunnen (UVB) technology developed by IEG Technologies Corporation (IEG) and demonstrated in association with Roy F. Weston, Inc. The UVB treatment technology was demonstrated over a period of 12 months from April 1993 to May 1994 at March Air Force Base (AFB) in Riverside, California. The UVB technology is patented in situ groundwater remediation technology (developed in Germany) that combines air-lift pumping and air stripping to clean aquifers contaminated with volatile organic compounds (VOC). |
