Abstract |
The actions to be considered are the approvals of permits for the proposed Red Dog Mine Project in northwestern Alaska. A transportation corridor would be constructed from the mine to a port site on the Chukchi Sea/ Three action alternatives and a No Action Alternative are discussed. Impacts of the proposed project are described as they relate to vegetations and wetlands, wildlife, water quality, fisher resources, physical and chemical oceanography, air quality, visual resources, cultural resources, subsistence, socioeconomics, recreation, technical complexity, cost and Cape Krusenstern National Monument. |
