Abstract |
The report is on analytical studies and field investigations for the characterization of urban runoff and combined sewer overflows. The report is divided into two volumes as follows: Volume I - Analytical Studies; Volume II - Field Investigations. Volume I deals mainly with the analysis and development of stormwater management models. Initially, the results of studies are given on the development of storm hyetographs and the determination of infiltration capacity curves for use in hydrologic runoff models. In the next sections, an hydrologic model known as 'The University of Cincinnati Urban Runoff Model' is developed and a general description is given of the EPA Storm Water Management Model. Results are then provided on the testing of these computer models using field data included in Volume II. |
