Abstract | The report discusses a series of four surveys which were accomplished on a quarterly basis from December, 1967 to September, 1968. Shellfish, marine waters, seaweeds, sediments and ground water were collected during each of these surveys for trace-metal analysis. In addition, benthic organisms were also collected and enumerated in order to determine the effect of the mine's effluent on marine populations. |
