Abstract |
TOX-SCREEN is a screening level multimedia model, developed to assess the potential fate of toxic chemicals released to air, -surface water, or soil. The model was developed at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for the U.S. EPA, Office of Toxic Substances. The model is simple in nature and is intended to be used as a screening device to identify chemicals that are unlikely to pose environmental problems even under conservative assumptions...Software Description: The program is written in the FORTRAN programming language for implementation on a Digital Equipment VAX 11/780 computer using the VMS 4.1 operating system. 256K bytes of core storage are required to operate the model. |
