Abstract |
Stabilizer D-22 (dibutyltin dilaurate) is the first ingredient to be studied in our program for investigating components which may be suitable for plastic food containers. Our plan is to study the single dose and subacute toxicity of all suggested materials first before selecting the most hopeful ones to be administered daily for 2 years to small animals. It is probable that some ingredients will reveal so great a power of cumulative action during 30 daily doses that they are obviously not worth a more detailed consideration. |
