The LA/OMA Project is to develop a long term plan, including an implementation strategy to re-use/dispose of residual solids resulting from industrial and municipal wastewater treatment in the Los Angeles/Orange County Metropolitan area. This report presents a marketing strategy for sludge disposal. Three separate studies comprise this report. 'Markets for Sludge Products' identifies product features important to the market served, potential sales, revenue and characteristics of a successful program. 'Potentially Marketable Sludge Products' list sludge-based products whose marketability warrant further investigation. Existing and Past Sludge Product Marketing Experiences' assesses current practices of two particpating agencies and communities outside the study area. |
