Abstract |
This document contains the material used for the Short Course on the Applications of Computer Programs in the Preliminary Design of Wastewater Treatment Facilities. It covers the role of computer programs in preliminary design and use of the Exec Program to determine the effect of design criteria selection on plant cost and performance, compares the cost and performance of multiple flow schemes, and determines the effect of economic parameters on capital and O/M costs for a given facility design. Modification of existing Exec Program subroutines and addition of new subroutines to the Exec Program are discussed. |
