Abstract | EPA has developed a database of sources of information on the chemicals listed in Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA), also known as Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA). The database is intended to assist users of the Section 313 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) data to perform assessments of these chemicals. The Roadmaps system displays and/or prints out information for the EPCRA Section 313 chemicals on health and environmental effects, carcinogenicity and other properties, federal regulations, and state air and water regulations and monitoring data. It also includes lists of state contacts. The document describes the design of the EPCRA Section 313 Roadmaps Database microcomputer program, and provides instructions for using the system. |
