Abstract |
The purpose of this report is to provide basic data concerning sources of coal mine drainage in critical problem areas of the Kiskiminetas River basin. Information regarding the location, physical characteristics, and quantity and quality of point sources is requisite to the development of a program to reduce or eliminate the deleterious water quality affects of mine drainage. Descriptions of seven inventoried watersheds of the Kiskiminetas River basin are contained in the following sections of this document. There are seven separate sections, one pertaining to each watershed. Each section contains its own summary and conclusions, maps, water quality data, and related mine drainage information. Analyses for the individual discharging mine sites are shown in the appendices. A separate appendix is included for each of the individual watershed study areas. |
