Abstract | The long-term performance tests provide information on the first follow-up sampling and analysis on the SITE program demonstration of the International Waste Technologies additive, and the Geo-Con deep soil mixing equipment. The samples containing PCBs, were collected one year after the demonstration, and the chemical and physical test results were compared to those obtained during the demonstration. This was the first part of a 5-year monitoring program on this in-situ stabilization/solidification process. The demonstration was performed in April 1988 at an electric service shop in Hialeah, FL. Volume 3 discusses the results of the long-term monitoring tests and how they compare to the results of the demonstration. |
