Abstract |
The study's main objectives are (1) to calculate the relationship between specified levels of a uniform national sulfur emissions tax, and the resulting reduction in projected emissions from primary stationary source emitters; (2) to estimate the costs of emission-reduction activities that ensue as a consequence of a given emission-tax level; and (3) to determine the tax revenue generated in light of alternative emission tax levels, and hence the total gross environmental costs imposed on sulfur emitters. |
