Abstract |
Nutrient management involves the implementation of practices that permit efficient crop production and protect water quality from nutrient pollution. A nutrient management plan is a written, site-specific plan that addresses these issues. The goal of farm nutrient management planning is to minimize adverse environmental effects, primarily upon water quality, while optimizing farm profits. In the manual, the authors will give the reader the information required to generate nutrient management plans for the Chesapeake Bay region. |
