Abstract | The purpose of this Area Contingency Plan (ACP) is to provide an action plan to respond to a release and to promote timely and effective coordination among the entire spill community, including Federal, State, tribal, local and private entities in response to a discharge or substantial threat of discharge. The geographic description of this ACP is USEPA Region VII, which encompasses the states of Kansas, Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska. Detailed descriptions of areas of special economic and environmental concern can be found in Appendix A.1 and A.2, Environmentally and Economically Sensitive Areas. |
