| Abstract |
This report summarizes the results of a two-year, nationwide survey of small quantity generators of hazardous waste (i.e. establishments that produce less than 1,000 kilograms of hazardous waste per calendar month.) The report includes general information on: the number and types of small quantity generators; the types and quantities of waste they generate; and the ways in which the wastes are handled. The report also contains waste characterization and management profiles of 22 principal industries containing small quantity generators. |
