Abstract |
Differential pulse anodic stripping voltametry (DPASV) was evaluated to determine its applicability to industrial and domestic effluents. The results show that trace amounts of zinc, cadmium, lead, bismuth, copper, thallium, indium, antimony, tin and nickel can be determined individually and simultaneously. A procedure for providing low blank buffer and electrolyte systems was tested. The efficiency for the entire process, including digestion, sample transfer and analysis, was found to range from 93 to 100%. Pulse anodic stripping voltametry was found to be superior to atomic absorption in terms of sensitivity, detection limits and cost. |
