| Abstract |
This report discusses the accomplishments of the Phase I Operations of the EPA/NASA joint project and also compares the results of manual photo-interpretation and automated data analysis conducted during this phase. Also included in this report are the results of a feasibility study to use Landsat data for performing a regional land-cover classification of a portion of the Powder River Basin area in northeastern Wyoming, where there are numerous coal strip mines.
