Abstract
The purpose of the work was to select optimum sites to drill for ground water on the east coast of Lanai from Federation Village south to Naha. The reconnaissance effort was based on shoreline measurements of ground-water temperature and conductivity and electrical resistivity soundings, supplemented by algae surveys, infrared photography, and other pertinent environmental observations and monitoring.
