Abstract | This report is intended to supplement the water quality investigations conducted at Dutch Harbor which were reported in PB 269 545. The specific objectives of the 1977 survey were to determine (1) the extent of old (pre-1977) and new deposits of shellfish wastes at the disposal locations on the west side of Amaknak Island, (2) Iliuliuk Harbor, and (3) the hydrogen sulfide levels in recently discharged and old shellfish deposits. |
