Abstract | Treatment standards have been promulgated for those RCRA wastes subject to the land disposal restrictions. The EPA identified 26 treatment technologies which achieved significant reductions of the concentrations for each waste's constituents. The paper discusses these biological, thermal, and physical/chemical technologies, the factors used by the Agency in defining the BDAT for the various RCRA wastes, and examples of treatment performance tests for the demonstrated technologies. |
