Abstract |
An input-output approach is employed to project future production inputs for selected industrial sectors. The proportion of metals in the future household waste stream is expected to increase. The 1985 household stream is expected to continue to have a high proportion of waste related to paper and paperboard mill products, followed by ferrous waste resulting from steel production activity, with discarded glass comprising the third largest waste component. |
