Abstract
An ordinance and code regulating eating and drinking establishments is recommended by the United States Public Health Service for adoption by States, municipalities, counties, and health districts in order to encourage a greater uniformity and a higher level of excellence in the sanitary control of eating and drinking establishments. The ordinance and code embodies the latest information at present available on legislation relating to the public health supervision of eating and drinking establishments but should be considered subject to change as improvements are developed.
