Abstract |
This document presents the findings of an in-depth technical study of the fertilizer industry. The purpose was to determine industry control practices, water effluent treatment technologies, and cost data related to these items as information from which meaningful effluent guidelines could be developed. Only ammonium sulfate manufacture as a synthetic and a coke oven by-product material and the mixed and blend fertilizer processes are included. Processes, wastes, and best control technologies are discussed. |
