Abstract
This report provides guidance for development of regulations to limit emissions of volatile organic compounds from magnet wire coating operations. Coating operations and control technology are described. Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) is described for the industry. Specific topics discussed include the following: Sources and types of emissions; Applicable systems of emission reduction; Cost analysis; Adverse and beneficial effects of applying technology; Monitoring techniques and enforcement aspects.
