| Abstract |
Biological and water quality studies were conducted on the Holston River and Cherokee Lake Tennessee as part of an evaluation of clean-up efforts in and around Kingsport, Tennessee. Study results showed that water quality in the Holston River had improved considerably. Further downstream in Cherokee Reservoir, trophic conditions had improved, but the data showed that the Lake still had a high potential for algal blooms. |
