Abstract
The report presents the data obtained from the radioanalysis of tissues collected from cattle, deer, desert bighorn sheep, and other wildlife that reside on or near the Nevada Test Site. Cesium-137 and 106Ru were the only gamma-emitting radionuclides detected in the soft tissues of range cattle. Ruthenium-106 was detected only in the lungs of animals sampled in May. Other animals sampled included Golden eagles, feral horses, coyotes, and chukar. The 137Cs levels in an eagle collected during 1964 varied only slightly from one collected during 1971.
