| Abstract |
This publication presents the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Energy, Minerals, and Industry's interagency coal cleaning research, development and demonstration program. This report consists of the papers presented in the two sessions, Coal Preparation of Pollution Control, of the Fourth National Conference on Energy and the Environment (October 5-6, 1976, Cincinnati, Ohio). The first session (section 1 of the publication) is concerned with the physical chemical and geochemical aspects of coal including resource distribution and availability. The second session (section 2 of the publication) centers on the cleaning technology, both physical and chemical, that is advancing towards commercialization in cooperation with or under sponsorship from the Government. |
