The Water Quality Analysis Simulation Program--3 (WASP3) is a dynamic compartment modeling system that can be used to analyze a variety of water quality problems in a diverse set of water bodies. WASP3 simulates the transport and transformation of conventional and toxic pollutants in the water column and benthos of ponds, lakes, streams, rivers, reservoirs, estuaries, and coastal waters. The WASP3 modeling system covers four major subjects: hydrodynamics, conservative mass transport, eutrophication-dissolved oxygen kinetics, and toxic chemical-sediment dynamics. The manual contains three main parts: Model Theory, User's Manual, and Programmer's Guide.
