Performance and Effectiveness of Green Infrastructure Stormwater Management Approaches in the Urban Context: A Philadelphia Case Study
EPA awarded five grants to research the performance and effectiveness of green infrastructure practices at the urban watershed-level in the Philadelphia area. Green infrastructure uses landscape changes like rain gardens, green roofs, native plants, big trees and rain barrels to reduce the amount of polluted stormwater that runs off into nearby water bodies.
