Abstract |
The paper gives an overview of continuously being improved methods of characterizing indoor pollutant emission sources and sinks. Both empirical and fundamental mass transfer models are being developed to predict the emission behavior of sources and sinks. Another approach involves measurement of human sensory and animal irritation responses to identify sources with potential problems. Chamber systems that combine chemical emissions determinations with sensory response have also been developed. |
