Abstract |
The 'Report on FQPA Tolerance Reassessment and Interim Risk Management Decision for Phostebupirim,' which was approved on September 29, 2000, summarizes the Agency's assessment of the dietary and occupational risk from phostebupirim. Based on its review, EPA has recommended risk mitigation measures to address the human health risks associated with the current use of phostebupirim. Section I contains the regulatory framework for reregistration/tolerance reassessment as well as descriptions of the process developed by TRAC for public comment on science policy issues for the organophosphate pesticides and the worker risk management PR notice. Section II provides a profile of the use and usage of the chemical. Section III gives an overview of the revised human health risk assessment resulting from public comments and other information. Section IV presents the Agency's interim risk management decisions. Section V summarizes required label changes based on the risk mitigation measures outlined in Section IV. Section VI provides information on how to access related documents. Finally, the Appendices list Data Call-In (DCI). |
