Abstract |
Semivolatile organic compounds (SVOCs) are distributed in air between the particulate and the vapor phases. Samplers for SVOCs in indoor air must therefore collect both airborne particles and vapors. Two prototype indoor samplers for SVOCs were developed. Both are quiet, transportable, and operate entirely within the sampled environment. The authors evaluated their performance and estimated the ranges of indoor SVOC concentrations in four small indoor air studies. |
