Abstract |
The Indian Creek Main Sewer District No. 1, Johnson County, Kansas, has applied for Federal financial assistance to provide improvements to the existing treatment plant site, including creek relocation, access driveway, storm sewer and miscellaneous site work. The proposed project is a preparatory step to expansion of the present Indian Creek Sewage Treatment Plant capacity from 70,000 PE to an ultimate 428,000 PE. Environmental impact, benefits, and adverse effects of the project are reported. Alternatives have also been considered from cost effectiveness, environmental effects and other considerations. |
