Abstract |
The Waste Minimization Assessment Center (WMAC) team at the University of Louisville performed an assessment at a plant manufacturing cylinders for rotogravure printing. Rotogravure printing cylinders are produced from new stock and used cylinders that require reworking. The assessment team's report, detailing findings and recommendations, indicated that significant cost savings could be achieved by melting and reusing copper scrap as anodes in the plating bath. |
