| Abstract |
The Merced County Association of Governments implemented the results of a solid waste study which it conducted. The implementation process and results are detailed in this report. The system as installed consisted of two county operated sanitary landfills and a transfer station. Larger cities in the county with existing collection systems have continued their operations. The remainder of the county was divided into six districts and collection is provided by a bid process to private franchised haulers. |
