This edition of Ecology Law Quarterly discusses the problem of the United States as the 'throw away society,' our recycling potential and solutions to our problem. Federal inaction, states' response to the solid waste challenge, deficiencies in the states' existing and proposed recycling legislation, making recycling succeed, and an introduction to Japan's 'Clean Japan Center,' are discussed in this issue. |
