Abstract |
The symposium was the second in a series to present the results of studies, management activities and related information pertinent to improving the communal stewardship of the Mobile Bay Estuary. The papers presented dealt with: The resources of Mobile Bay; Fisheries research and management; Benthic and wetland resources; Habitat preservation, Restoration and mitigation; Educational efforts; Hydrography, circulation, water quality and pollutants. The primary objectives of the symposium were to bring the information together and to identify a new set of management/research recommendations. |
