Abstract |
This manual outlines a planning methodology for the development of a (Small and Alternative Wastewater Systems (SAWS)) management program. It identifies the questions a community must consider when planning SAWS management and also offers some alternative answers to those questions. Each and every community has a unique political makeup and equally unique wastewater problems. Thus, successful SAWS management programs are specifically designed to meet the needs and constraints of their locations. This manual will help SAWS planners identify a number of management options for their community and then help them evaluate those options. |
