Abstract |
Over the past several years, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), through the Air and Energy Engineering Research Laboratory (AEERL) has been a major sponsor of the Energy Information Administration's (EIA) Form 767 data collection effort. The Form EIA-767, entitled 'Steam-Electric Plant Operation and Design Report' is an annual data collection form whose major output to-date has been an annual data tape which is released to the public through the National Technical Information Service. The output from the study included in the report is a one-page-per-plant report which includes a variety of information extracted from various parts of the Form EIA-767. For each applicable plant, several categories of information were extracted and included: plant ownership, identification, and location information; boiler design characteristics; pollution control equipment design characteristics; fossil fuels consumed and their quality for 1985; fossil fuels consumed and their quality for 1986; and fossil fuels consumed and their quality for 1987. |
