Abstract |
This report summarizes an analysis of Emission Factors (EF) Test Data which is directed toward estimating the impact of Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) programs on reducing emissions from in-use light-duty vehicles in Phoenix, Arizona. Model years 1972-1978 light duty passenger cars were used in this analysis. Federal Test Procedure (FTP) test data from four low-altitude, non-California cities in the program were Chicago, Houston, St. Louis and Washington, D.C. The four cities were compared to Phoenix, Arizona to evaluate the effectiveness of Inspection and Maintenance. |
