Abstract |
The paper discusses the development of a mass spectral interface that will allow for the characterization of both the particulate and gaseous phases of an aerosol consumer product by interfacing an electron mobility analyzer with an atmospheric triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. The ultimate goal is to apply this technology to the development of lower-emitting aerosol consumer products--furthering the quest for maximum pollution prevention. The paper presents the progress of the interface under development and the data collected to date. |
